Celebration of Republic Day

NSS Units, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram in association with Veterans India and collaboration with AICTE & Recognized by Fit India, under Sports Authority of India (SAI) celebrated “Republic Day” on 26^th January 2024. A Patriotic run was organized to pay tribute to Veterans of India. The Chief Guest of the program was Brig. Umesh Singh Bawa (Vir Chakra). 285 Participants attended the run with full enthusiasm.

Dr. Isha Malhotra (Principal, DCE) welcomed the chief guest and presented a green compliment. The Run from College campus to Patli Village glorified the moment of Nationalism and Patriotism that every Indian have. After the march everyone gathered for flag hoisting by Chief Guest- Brig. Umesh Singh Bawa (Vir Chakra awardee). Thereafter, a cultural program was organized by the Cultural Club, DCE. Benefits/Outcome: Feeling of Patriotism and unity, reminding citizens of the values enshrined in the Constitution was infused in the students. It also instilled pride and responsibility towards building a stronger, inclusive nation.
