CSI - Student Project Contest - 2020

Computer Society of India (Ghaziabad Chapter) organized "Student Project Contest – 2020" on 4th January 2020 for students to present the innovative ideas. Students from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram participated in the contest.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Parma Nand, Dean SET. The jury members included Prof. (Dr.) R.P.S Tomar, Convener-SPC and Dr. Kavita Saxena, Chairperson from Computer Society of India.
Top ten teams were selected for the main event on 4th January 2020. Each participant presented various project ideas like Green Computing, Farming Culture and Farming Strategies, Difficulties faced by the blind people in their day to day life and their solution. Some of them included RPI Walking Stick, Arduino Grass Cutter etc.
Next, each participant explained their ideas and their advantages. The students were given 10 minutes time to present and to perform the demo in front of all the participants.
Gaurav (20444), student of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, Best Engineering College in Delhi NCR was among top 10 finalists, presented the idea of "RPI Walking Stick for Blind People" under the guidance of faculty members of IT Department Mr. Amar Saraswat, and Mrs. Ashu Khurana.
The winners got exciting prizes along with the certificates. All other finalist students received participation certificate.
