DCE NSS Volunteers Ignite the Spirit of Patriotism at Red Fort

NSS Cell of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, under the guidance of Dr. Anupam Dalal, NSS Programme Officer, participated in the Independence Day Ceremony 2026 at Gyanpath, Red Fort, New Delhi, from 1st to 15th August 2026. A team of 50 NSS volunteers representing different departments became part of the extensive rehearsal programme and the Grand National celebration held on 15th August 2026.

A major highlight of the programme was the presentation of the “Vande Mataram” logo formation, which reflected the volunteers’ discipline, coordination, and collective spirit. The formation was prepared through continuous rehearsals, with students carefully following designated positions and synchronized movements. The activity demanded dedication, precision, patience, and effective teamwork, providing the volunteers with an opportunity to contribute to a prestigious national celebration at the historic Red Fort.

Throughout the programme, the volunteers participated with enthusiasm and maintained a strong sense of punctuality and discipline. The students actively engaged in rehearsals and coordinated activities alongside NSS officials, faculty coordinators, and participants from various institutions. The experience strengthened their communication, teamwork, time management, and sense of collective responsibility.

With the final presentation on 15th August 2026, months of preparation, coordination, and dedicated rehearsals came together in a spectacular “Vande Mataram” formation. Every synchronized movement reflected the volunteers’ dedication and teamwork, creating a proud moment that resonated with the spirit of freedom, unity, and patriotism.

Participation in a prestigious national celebration at the historic Red Fort gave the volunteers a firsthand experience of unity, discipline, leadership, coordination, and collective responsibility. Months of preparation and dedicated rehearsals transformed their individual efforts into a powerful expression of teamwork, instilling a deeper sense of pride and commitment towards the nation.
