VISIT TO BRAHMA KUMARIS OM SHANTI RETREAT CENTER,
BHORA KALAN, PATAUDI ROAD

Applied Science Department of�Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon�organized a visit to�Brahma Kumaris Om Shanti Retreat Center, Bhorakala�on�20th August, 2016.�90 students of 1st year along with faculty members�Dr. Surender,�Dr. Vaishali Dixit, Dr. Jyoti Anand and Ms. Manjari Saxena, Mr. Gajanand Sharma, Ms. Rita Yadavvisited the center.
Brahma Kumari�is a place which was set up to help people maintain a good life - work balance through the effective technique of meditation, to help people rediscover their true inner potentials and strengths and to maximize them for enhanced productivity, to help people develop a positive attitude enriching life experience in personal and professional domain and to lead a stress free life by increasing their ability to cope with challenging work situations.
Dronacharyans�had attended a�motivational session�on�Stress Management�which was very creatively demonstrated using several examples of daily life.
Solar Power System of 450 kW installed at the center was also demonstrated to the students. The solar power plant at the ORC is one of the largest of its kind in India and has been partly sponsored by the�Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources (MNES), Govt. of India. Since its installation, it has been a fine example for environment friendly solar power generation.
Students also visited the Spiritual Art Gallery where they had been demonstrated life size models and paintings depicting ancient Indian culture and explaining the various spiritual principles governing our life. The models of various India dynasties and scenes of the golden age have been skillfully created by artists from Orissa and West Bengal to give a very pleasant experience.
It was really a very nice experience visiting that campus and sharing the views with the eminent personalities residing there.
