One day workshop on Work Ethics

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized one day workshop on “Work Ethics” for its non- teaching staff members on 4^th April 2022. Dr. Anil Sethi (Soft Skill Trainer) was the guest speaker for the lecture. The workshop was attended by 18 non -teaching staff members.

The workshop stressed on the need to remain motivated and professional to ensure growth both at the personal & professional levels. 

Prof. (Dr.) BMK Prasad welcomed Dr. Anil Sethi and told the participants’ ethics are defined as moral principles that govern an individual’s behavior or the way they carry out an activity. . He said every organization has well- defined rules for personal and professional conduct and employee should follow that rules.

Next Dr. Anil Sethi encouraged the participants to have core belief in self, which is a driving force to motivate and to develop a firm conviction towards work. He also described on the importance and the requisite qualities to be possessed by each personnel in an Institution.

He guided certain steps to be followed in order to develop good work ethics, communication skills etc. 

Through the workshop participants learnt:

• The ways to develop values framework.
• The ways to deal with any conflict which can arise in the work place.
• The ways to navigate through ethical dilemmas
