HACK SVIT'22

29th April - 1st May 2022

Four project teams of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram participated in HackSVIT 2022 : 36 hour long hackathon across India, from 29^th April – 1^st May 2022.

Out of four teams from college three teams, namely Biome22, Cattwampus and OBOT performed exceptionally well and secured their position in Top10 after competing with more than 100 teams.

Team BIOME22, with their project “Unassisted Hydroponic System” comprising of team members Vivek Singh(22211, ECE-VI), Nitin Kumar(22587, EEE-VI), Vineet Gahlan(22590, EEE-VI) and Devansh Sharma(22584, EEE-VI)  under the guidance of Mrs. Neha Verma (Assistant Professor-ECE Dept.) secured  2nd Runner-Up position at the Hackathon and received goodies from sponsors along with cash prize of Rs. 20000.

Team Cattywampus gained 4^th position comprising members Manish Kumar Singh (23226), Ronak Panchal(23238), Prateek Kumar Singh(23232) and Aum Singhal (23029). The mentor of the team was Prof. Ashwani Kumar.

Overall, the event was a great exposure and learning experience for students as they got an opportunity to showcase their innovative project at a national platform as well as learned to  deliver their best while the pressure of working within a time frame.
