National Level Poster Making Competition

To mark the Earth Day celebrations, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a national level “ AFFICHE’22: Poster Making Competition”. Theme for poster making was “Invest in our Planet”.

With the objective to pay tribute to the mother Earth and sensitise students about climate change and global warming, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gururgram celebrated “Earth Day” on 22^nd April 2022. Faculty members, staff and students enthusiastically participated in the celebration. 

Prof. (Dr). BMK Prasad spread awareness among the participants regarding environment protection and planet conservation.   He also emphasised on using the environment-friendly architecture to stimulate people in the right direction.

He told participants some of the basic things that one can use to protect the earth like, “say no to plastic”, “reduce, reuse, and recycle”, “plant more trees”.

He felt overwhelmed by the active participation of the students in the competition from all over the nation. Students displayed their artistic skills through the exquisitely designed posters on the given topics.

He appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue taking steps towards saving the planet. 

In the end he declared the winners of the competitions and congratulated all of them.
