Industrial Visit to Kiki Centre for Technology

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized an industrial visit to "Kiki Centre for Technology, Manesar, Gurgaon" on 27th October, 2018. 3rd Semester students of Mechanical Engineering Department and Electrical Engineering Department along with faculty member Mr. Nitin Goel (Assistant Professor) & Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh (Lab Instructor) visited the organisation.
The main objective of the visit was to make students aware about the new technologies and operating the automated machines in the industries.
Kiki Centre for Technology is established with the support of a World Bank reflows programme, the German Chamber of Skilled Crafts, Koblenz, Germany and Indian industry; Anjali foundation (under the brand name of Kiki Centre for Technology) at IMT Manesar, Gurgaon, Delhi-NCR. The institute focuses on developing skills with the support of German experts.
Kiki Team provided a brief introduction to the students about the organisation and then the students headed towards the automated machines (CNC & NC). Further students were described briefly the processes of automated machines and about new technologies.
The most interesting part of the visit was to see the automated working of the machines. The whole automated system for production of material was visible and it was very helpful for the students to see the working of automatic machines.
Overall, the visit to the technical centre was informative and educative for the students as they learnt the basics of automation engineering and about the new technologies.
