Innovation Festival 2016 at National Science Center
Realizing the importance of Innovation and the impact of experimentation and scientific method in shaping logical thinking among our community, the�National Science Centre (NSC)�organized Innovation Festival during�21st�to�24th January 2016.�It aimed to foster a passion and aptitude for science and technology and to provide a unique platform to Innovative and creative Innovators.
Three faculty Members namely�Mr Yashvardhan Soni (Associate Professor, IT Department), Ms Sarita (Assistant Professor, CSE Department) & Mr Shashikant Das (Assistant Professor , ME Department)�from�Dronacharya College of Engineering , Gurgaon�attended the�Innovation Festival�on�22nd January 2016.
The National Science Centre is a science museum set up with an aim of inculcating scientific awareness among people and to evoke interest in the field of science. Innovation festival 2016 consisted of innovations fair in which various projects were showcased which were built of Innovative challenges, Idea contest, and Hands-on Minds-on screen.

13.�Speech simulator 2.0 an aid for speech and visual impairment
14.�Air - conditioned bed with collapsible panel
S.S. Rana�& Co. Intellectual Property Law Firm, an initiative of�CSR IP�also conducted an Intellectual Property Awareness Program in this festival, which was an open exhibition for the young generation to explore the legal aspect to safeguard their valuable invention.
The Festival was an all age showcase and celebration of Invention, creativity and resourcefulness. It was a gathering of fascinating and curious people who enjoy learning and sharing of experiences, which they get from exploring the inner passion.
It was a platform for Innovators to show their creative work, interact with others in varieties of fields to encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning through the provision of supportive practical projects and assessments.
