Session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Innovation, & Entrepreneurship

Department of CSE (AIML) in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized “Evaluation Session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Innovation, and Entrepreneurship” with a special focus on guidance for new startups. The session was led by Mr. Kapil Tomar (Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.) 55 students attended the session.
Prof. Neha Chauhan (Convener, EDC, DCE) welcomed the esteemed speaker by presenting green compliment. With his vast expertise, Mr. Tomar provided an in-depth understanding of the importance of IPR in safeguarding innovations, fostering entrepreneurship, and navigating challenges faced by startups. He also shared valuable insights on how to transform innovative ideas into successful business ventures while ensuring legal and market readiness.
Students actively engaged in discussions, presented their innovative ideas and sought guidance on intellectual property protection and entrepreneurial strategies. The event concluded with a vote of thanks extended to Mr. Kapil Tomar for sharing his expertise and motivating the young minds.
