3 - Day Placement Drive by Indian Navy
at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon
Indian Navy, one of the three wings of Indian Defense Services, conducted 3-Day placement drive at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon campus from 21st to 23rd September 2015 for B.Tech 2016 Batch students. 195 students from Dronacharya Group andf148 studentsrom other colleges participated in the drive.
The Indian Navy is a well-balanced and cohesive three dimensional force, capable of operating above, on and under surface of the oceans efficiently safeguarding our national interests. The Navy has three commands, each under the control of a Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief - the Western Naval Command (Headquarters at Mumbai), the Eastern Naval Command (Headquarters at Visakhapatnam) and the Southern Naval Command (Headquarters at Kochi). The Western and the Eastern Naval Command are operational commands and the Southern Command is designed as the Training Command.
The campus placement drive at the College was conducted by a team led by Cdr. Ashish Chopra, Cdr. Sanjeev Gupta andLt. Cdr. Smriti Tripathi. The recruitment process included - Presentation, Group Discussion and Interview. The result of the drive is still awaited. The Navy officials had a detailed and healthy interaction with the management fraternity and they came out fully satisfied with the 3-Day Recruitment process.
