BLOOD DONATION CAMP
10th NOVEMBER 2017
NSS Unit of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon in association with Rotary Blood Bank Gurgaon organized a Blood Donation Camp on 10th November. 2017.
Chief Guest Dr. Satish Yadav (Chairman Dronacharya Group of Institutions) inaugurated the camp and motivating the volunteers. He also thanked the personnel of Rotary Blood Bank, Gurgaon for utilizing their precious time for social welfare. Mr. Pawan Sapra President Rotary Blood Bank, Mr. B. D. Pahuja, Mr. K. S. Yadav, Mr. Munish Khular, Ms. Kalyani Sachan, Mr. Vinay Sheetal, Dr. Sunil Taneja were present in the Blood donation camp.
More than 550 units of Blood were donated by Students, NSS volunteers, Staff and faculty member. There were long queues of blood donors, both boys and girls, who seemed to be more enthusiastic than ever before. Prof. (Dr.) B.M.K. Prasad (Principal), Prof.(Dr.)Sri Krishan Yadav (Dean Academics), Brig(Retd.) R. S. Kochhar (Registrar) and Dr. S. K. Yadav (Advisor Admin.) from college were present during blood donation camp.
Prof (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad Principal DCE thanked all the students, NSS volunteers and the faculty members for donating blood for a noble cause.
