Awareness Session on Global Energy Crisis and Climate Change

Dronacharya College of Engineering organized an enlightening session on “Awareness about the Global Energy Crisis and Climate Change” in association with the Energy Swaraj Foundation. The session aimed to educate students and faculty about the urgent need for energy conservation and the transition to sustainable energy solutions.
The session highlighted the growing challenges posed by climate change, the overconsumption of fossil fuels, and the critical role that renewable energy—especially solar—plays in securing a sustainable future. Speakers from the Energy Swaraj Foundation emphasized the concept of "Energy by Locals for Locals", urging individuals to become energy literate and take conscious steps toward reducing their carbon footprint.
Interactive discussions, real-life examples, and motivational videos were part of the session, which left a significant impact on the attendees. The event concluded with participants taking a pledge to adopt energy-saving practices and support clean energy initiatives.
