“Rhythm of Azadi”

Akashvani Bhawan, New Delhi

8th August 2025

In a remarkable celebration of music, patriotism, and national pride, a group of 100 enthusiastic students from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, accompanied by Dr. Ashok Kumar and two dedicated faculty members, attended the vibrant cultural event “Rhythm of Azadi” on 8th August 2025 at the Rang Bhawan Auditorium, Akashvani Bhawan, New Delhi. The event served as a magnificent tribute to India’s freedom and was graced by an enthralling live performance by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Jazz Band.

Organized under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative, the programme aimed to honor India’s 75 years of independence and the valiant sacrifices of freedom fighters and armed forces. The ITBP Jazz Band captivated the audience with its soulful renditions of patriotic melodies, traditional tunes, and contemporary rhythms, creating an electrifying atmosphere of unity and national pride. The mesmerizing fusion of music and emotion left every listener inspired and deeply connected to the spirit of the nation.

The event proved to be an inspirational and educational experience, instilling a deeper sense of patriotism, unity, and cultural appreciation among the students. Engaging with such a powerful performance on a national stage was truly a memorable moment of learning and pride for all.

For the students, the experience was both enlightening and deeply motivational. It showcased how music can serve as a powerful medium to express love for the country and foster collective harmony. The interaction with the talented performers further enriched their understanding of dedication, teamwork, and cultural representation through art.

Overall, the event was an unforgettable experience that not only celebrated India’s cultural vibrancy but also ignited a renewed sense of patriotism, respect, and pride among all participants.
