Department of Artificial IntelligenceandMachine Learning (AIML) at Dronacharya College of Engineering,Gurugram in collaboration with DCE ACM and DCE ACM-W Student Chapters, organized Expert Sessions on NPTEL Edge, Cloud Certifications, and GATE 2026 Preparationon 23rd August 2025. The event aimed to guide students toward skill development, career readiness, and academic excellence through a series of expert-led sessions and interactive discussions.
The program began with an insightful session by Prof. Suman on “Unlocking High-Impact Placements with NPTEL Edge” specially designed for III Semester students. The session highlighted the importance of NPTEL’s structured certification courses that combine domain-specific learning with mentorship support, enabling students to strengthen their technical knowledge and stay aligned with industry requirements. The discussion encouraged students to leverage online learning platforms like NPTEL to enhance employability and bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations. To add further value, the AIII and Victor Club conducted engaging activities focused on Cloud Certifications and their growing role in shaping future career opportunities in the IT and AI domains.
Following this, Prof. Naveen Rathi conducted a session on “A Strategic GATE 2026 Head Start” for VSemester students, focusing on mastering key concepts of Computer Science and Data Analytics. Distinguished alumni — Mridul (pursuing M.Tech in Data Analytics at NIT Delhi) and Aditya (Software Engineer) — shared their real-world experiences, discussing common challenges faced during GATE preparation and strategies to overcome them. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, fostering a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning among students and faculty alike.
