Two-Day Annual Tech Fest - DRONATHON’25
29th – 30th August 2025
Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, organized its 4th Annual Technical Fest — DRONATHON’25, a grand two-day celebration of technology, innovation, and creativity, held on 29th and 30th August 2025. Prof. Neha Chauhan was the Event Co-ordinator.
The fest served as an excellent platform for young technocrats to exhibit their technical prowess, problem-solving skills, and innovative ideas through a diverse range of 13 engaging events, comprising 5 major and 8 minor competitions.
A highlight of the fest was the active participation of the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC), which conducted its signature hackathons and other exciting technical challenges that attracted immense student participation.
The Major Events, offering exciting cash prizes (₹8,000 for 1st, ₹5,000 for 2nd, and ₹3,000 for 3rd place), included:
- Hack-O-Relay 4.0 – A 2-day hackathon that tested students’ innovation, coding, and problem-solving skills.
- Smart.AI Innovation Hackathon – Encouraged participants to develop AI-powered solutions to real-world challenges.
- InnoQuest: Project Competition – Provided a platform for students to showcase innovative projects and compete for the Best Project Award.
- Concept-X – Focused on research-based PPT presentations aimed at addressing real-world issues.
- Debug Decrypt 2.0 – A challenge emphasizing logic development and debugging proficiency.
Minor Events
The minor events added vibrancy and inclusivity to the fest, featuring competitions like Code Manthan, Web Lumina, BGMI – The Ultimate Arena Cup, InkSpire (Poster Presentation), Geocaching (Treasure Hunt), Robo Rampage, Reel It, Meme It, and Style-O-Mania. Each event encouraged creativity, teamwork, and technical innovation—ranging from coding and robotics to gaming, art, and fashion.
Participants demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and skill across all categories. The major event winners included teams like Skymorph, Tod Fhod Coders, Cyber Well, Kasukabe Defence Force, and Code Green, who secured top positions in their respective competitions. In minor events, standout teams such as Team Rocket, TEAM RDX, Time Limit Exceeded, Cheetah, Caffeine Coders, and TEAM Ye4ro emerged victorious, showcasing the spirit of innovation and excellence.
