"Technical Sessions - National Technology Day 2022"

Institution's Innovation Council (MoE), DCE Gurgaon organized a session on “National Technology Day 2022” on 11th May, 2022.
On this occasion, Department of ECE and EEE of Dronacharya College of Engineering carried copious Technical sessions related to theme “Integrated Approach in Science & Technology for Sustainable Future” launched by our Union Minister, Honorable Mr. Jitendra Singh The session was attended by 60 students from ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Robotics & Automation Department.
First session of the day was conducted by Mr. Vivek Singh, 3rd year student of ECE branch, on “Embedded systems and IoT”. It was a right combination of technical know-how for Arduino, related examples, live project demo of IoT based project and hands-on session where attendees implemented a given circuit in real time enhancing their abilities to think quickly and react to given problem statements.
Second session was delivered by Mr. Devansh Sharma, 3rd year student of EEE branch, on “Designing and visualization of project idea” where the importance of visualization of project concept was discussed. The speakers shared different examples created using different platforms. The key highlight of session was how blender could be used to render a 2D object for creation of animations.
Lastly, Mr. Aditya Gautam, 2nd year student of ECE branch, shared his experience and knowledge on “3-D Designing using Fusion360” during his session. This part was specifically dedicated to introduce students to 3-D printing and modelling using the concept of prototyping in Fusion-360 software.
Overall, the complete session was very informative and introduced students to various new technological fronts like IoT related platforms, open source softwares, 3-D modelling etc.
