Technical Coding Competition - Dronathon 2022

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgugram organized “Dronathon 2022” from 26^th - 28^th May 2022. Under Dronathon- 2022, Technical Coding Competition: “Tech-Preksha” was conducted from 26^th - 28^th May, 2022. The event was coordinated by Prof. Yashvardhan Soni (Academic Administrator, DCE), Asst. Prof. Naveen Rathi (CSE Dept.)  and Asst. Prof. Ashwani Kumar (CSE Dept.) along with a team of 13 passionate student coordinators.

The objective of the event was to enhance student’s knowledge and talent, research orientation and unstopped potential and prepare future generation of engineers to be innovative leaders, responsible citizens and problem solvers.

The competition was organized on the “” platform. The competition witnessed many mind blowing ideas in 72 hours long run of coding hackathon. It was a platform wherein students got the opportunity to manifest ideas and creativity with other likeminded Hackers and Coders.

The event was beforehand scheduled and made available on the Tech-preksha platform and was also circulated on other major competition platforms. The registration for the event started on 7^th May, 2022 and closed on 20^th May, 2022. The first round was of idea submission was online which started on 7^th May, 2022 and closed on 20^th May, 2022. The announcement of Final 10 shortlisted Teams was announced on 22^nd May, 2022. All the shortlisted teams from across the nation reached the venue i.e. Dronacharya College of Engineering, Farrukhnagar, Gurugram. The tracks/themes and the technology to be used for coding was also intimated to all the participants beforehand. All the participants participated in the competition very enthusiastically. The first two days of the event were dedicated towards the hackathon and the last day of the event was reserved for the winners to be applauded.

The winners of the competition were awarded with cash prize and all the participant’s efforts were applauded by giving certificates, goodies, vouchers and coupons.
