Virtual Industrial Visit

Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE) Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram has organised a virtual industrial visit to “Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd” for 4th and 6th Semester students on 18th May 2022 through Microsoft Teams. The virtual visit was planned to exhibit at Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of college. Forty students and three faculty members were the part of online industrial visit.
Yakult Danone Company’s Assistant Manager Ms. Swathi Yadhav gave a presentation elaborating introduction of self and company. She then briefed, the company is manufacturing probiotic milk based energy health drink for all the people irrespective of age. The factory is situated at Sonipat, Haryana. Functioning of company is in collaboration with Japan and France. It has more than 70 branches all over the world.
Further she added, the Probiotic Yakult drink was introduced by Dr. Minora Shirota, Scientist (Japan) in order to take care of intestines and to boost immunity. This can be taken at any time whether it is day or night. Later she presented the video of manufacturing process, from the phase of preparing empty bottle to packing process. The daily demand of the company is about 1 million. The machineries are capable of producing 11, 000 empty bottles in one hour. She has also shown R & D Lab, that how the testing process are conducted with the samples to maintain the quality of the product. The packages are available in terms of 5 or15 bottles. She has explained their marketing process also.
Ms. Swathi Yadhav has answered the queries asked by student. Virtual industrial visit really provided a new experience to students as well as faculty.
