Orientation Program

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized “Orientation Program” on 14th August 2018 for the budding technocrats of B.Tech Batch (2018-2022).
The objective of the program was to acquaint students with college facilities such as Labs, Library and about the execution of academic planning.
Inaugurating the program Hon'ble Principal Prof. (Dr.) B.M.K. Prasad addressed all the students of first year acquainting them with the college environment and the various facilities at their behest. He also shared the futuristic vision in order to make the students more employable and creative.
During the orientation program, the student-coordinators of all the departments showcased the college website, industrial visits, technical visits, virtual labs, lab manuals, clubs, professional societies, entrepreneurship, NPTEL, Placement, Research & Publication and other achievements of their departments.
The convener of the program, Prof. (Dr.) Sri Krishan Yadav, Dean Academic disseminated the relevant information related to discipline, academics, e-learning, on-line certifications and courses, assignments, co-curricular activities as well as social activities prevailing in the college campus. He shared, as per strict directives of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, UGC and AICTE, the Anti-Ragging Committee, under the supervision of the Registrar Brig. (Retd.) R.S.Kochhar, has been formed to spread awareness among the students – (fresher as well as seniors).
The Registrar Brig. (Retd.) R.S.Kochhar, the HOD’s of all departments, also interacted with the parents and students of the 21st Batch.
The orientation program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by the Prof. (Dr.) Sri Krishan Yadav. He expressed gratitude to the Principal, the Registrar, all HODs and students for extending every possible support in making the program a great success.
After these enlightening addresses, the students were taken around the college campus to acquaint them about the college facilities (Auditorium, Library, Medical Cell and Canteen) under the guidance of their class-counsellors.
The program was beneficial to the budding technocrats and their parents as they came to know more about academic ambience and several other opportunities provided by the college to the students.
