International Conference on Computational Mathematics & Statistics (ICCMS - 2017) was organized by Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Banasthali University, India and co-organized by Department of Mathematics, University Putra Malaysia, during January 24th - 26th, 2017. The objective of the conference was to provide an International platform to researchers, developers, and practitioners from different fields of mathematics, statistics and computational techniques to learn many issues in regards to Game Theory, Supply and Chain, Operational research, Optimization Techniques, Big data Analytics and etc.
Dr. Jyoti Anand, Assistant Professor Applied Sciences and Humanities Department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon presented the research paper entitled ?Statistical Analysis of a Computer System with S/W Up-Gradation under Priority in Repair Disciplines of Components? in the session chaired by Prof. S.K. Upadhyay.
Day 1: 24th January, 2017
The first session of the conference inaugurated with the speech given by Prof. Sarla Pareek, Head of Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Banasthali University. She welcomed all the members of organizing committee, delegates and scholars who participated in this conference and all other prominent persons who have expertise in their fields.
Prof. Ian H. Sloan, School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia delivered his lecture on the topic ?To Boldly Go-Integrating Numerically in Hundreds of Dimensions? and Prof. Habshah Midi, Faculty of Science and Institute for Mathematics Research University Putra Malaysia discussed the topic ?Journey to Robust Statistics, Should Outliers be removed from a Dataset? in the session chaired by Prof. J.K. Verma, Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Powai and Prof. G.N. Purohit, Dean, Apaji Institute of Mathematics & Applied Computer Technology, Banasthali University.
Invited Session was started on the different topics like Mathematical Modeling, Supply Chain. In this session all other researchers presented their research papers, posters and shared their views.
Day 2: 25th January, 2017
Professor V.D Sharma, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay delivered his talk on the topic ?Non - Linear Hyperbolic Conservation Law and Associated Wave Phenomena? and Professor J.K. Verma delivered his lecture on ?Solving System of Real and Complex Polynomial Equations using Groebner Bases?. Invited session was started on the topics - Graph theory and Computational Algebra, Mathematical Modeling and Sampling & Small Estimation and session was chaired by Prof. R.K Sharma and Prof. J.L. Arora.
After the invited talk, contributory session was started, in which Dr. Jyoti Anand presented her accepted research paper and explained about the available solutions, main aim and objectives, following by the future work.
The Conference provided academic platform for researchers engineer?s, scientist and mathematicians on both work and perception of the field were significant and positive, ranging from specific technical input to kindling enthusiasm for new techniques.
