Visit to Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) - 2023

"Expanding Tech Horizons"

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE),  Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a visit to “Indian Mobile Congress (IMC 2023)” on 27^th October, 2023.Students {Rupashi, Jaishree, Debolina, Adarsh and Aryan (ECS 3^rd Semester), Vedika (AIML 3^rd Semester) and Oshank (CSE 5^th Semester)} along with Prof. Pooja Sharma (IIC Convener) visited IMC 2023. It was Asia's most extensive telecommunications, media, and technology forum. The theme of the event was “Global Digital Innovation.” It was 7^th edition of IMC, a three day program scheduled from 27^th - 29^th October, 2023, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. 

The event started with the inauguration ceremony by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at Bharat Mandapam. The series of event took everyone to an amazing ride in the world of technology. 

The IMC 2023 featured a variety of events and sessions which included: 

• Plenary Sessions:The sessions featured keynote speeches from industry leaders on topics such as the future of 5G, the role of telecom in sustainable development, and the impact of AI on the TMT sector.
• Panel Discussions:The discussions brought together experts from different industries to share their insights on the latest trends and developments in the TMT sector.
• Tech Talks:The talks featured presentations from technology companies on their latest products and services.
• Exhibition:The IMC 2023 exhibition featured over 500 exhibitors from around the world showcasing their latest products and services. 

The IMC 2023 offered a number of advantages to participants which included: 

• Networking Opportunities: The IMC 2023 provided a platform for participants to network with industry leaders, experts, and potential partners.
• Learning Opportunities: The IMC 2023 offered a variety of learning opportunities, such as plenary sessions, panel discussions, and tech talks, on the latest trends and developments in the TMT sector.
• Business Opportunities:The IMC 2023 provided a platform for participants to explore new business opportunities and partnerships. 

The IMC 2023 showcased a wide range of technologies which included: 

• 5G:5G was a major focus of the IMC 2023, with many exhibitors showcasing their 5G products and services.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI):AI was another major focus area of the IMC 2023, with many exhibitors showcasing their AI-powered products and services.
• Internet of Things (IoT):The event also showcased a range of IoT products and services.
• Cloud Computing:Cloud computing was another major theme of the IMC 2023, with many exhibitors showcasing their cloud-based products and services. 

The IMC 2023 was a vibrant event with a strong focus on innovation and collaboration. The exhibition was well-organized and featured a wide range of exhibitors from around the world. The sessions were informative and engaging and the networking opportunities were excellent.
