Summer Faculty Research Fellow Programme - 2015

Mrs. Renu, Assistant Professor, Computer Science Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a two month Summer Faculty Research Fellow Programme - 2015 from May 15, 2015 to 15 July, 2015.
The aim of this programme was to facilitate and orient the faculty fellows among the engineering and science institutes outside IIT system to undertake research. Many faculty members all over India across various Institutes attended the Summer Faculty Research Fellow Programme-2015 and worked under the guidance of active research faculty members of IIT Delhi. It proved as a great opportunity for the fellow researchers to start on their PhD under the guidance of an active research faculty mentor at IIT Delhi.
During the program, Ms. Renu did research work in the domain of Cryptography and Network Security under the guidance of Dr. Ram Lal, Sr. Programmer, Computer Service Centre, IIT Delhi and got an opportunity to interact and work with the faculty mentor and research fellows of the group and got exposure to the lab equipment and lab facilities associated with the faculty mentor like access to IEEE explorer journals, Springer, Elsevier etc which was useful in research. Other general facilities like access to central library books, internet for IEEE explorer Journals were also provided.
The program proved to be beneficial as it was majorly quality research work and the research work was on the topic “The Efficient and Effective Cryptographic Algorithm using Boolean Algebra”. It was very enriching and knowledgeable program that helped participants to work in area of interest and getting updated with the recent innovations over the subject.
