Career Guidance Session

To celebrate Engineers Day 2019, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram in association with Tata Projects Limited organized a "Career Guidance Session" on 16th September 2019. Mr. Anupam Ranjan, Dy Manager- Human Resources, Tata Projects Limited was the resource person of the session. 60 students of ECE/EEE/ME/CE department attended the session.
The main objective of the session was to guide students on career related matters and assist them in exploring new opportunities.
Mr. Anupam Ranjan started the session with company presentation. He told students Tata Projects is one of the fastest growing and most admired infrastructure companies in India. It has expertise in executing large and complex urban and industrial infrastructure projects.
Next Mr. Anupam started with the current employability status of engineering students. Latest industry trends in core engineering field were focused by him. He listed many roles/designation currently being practiced in the core companies; their skill set requirement, companies name, job responsibilities etc. and explained the career growth ladder. Mr. Anupam emphasized on the importance of right mix of knowledge, attitude and additional skills for a successful career. Continuing the session, he also explained students importance of preparing and qualifying for GATE exams. He also told option available for students after qualifying GATE exams. In the end Mr. Anupam cleared the doubts of the students.
Overall it was very interactive session for students.
