CSE Student as Campus Ambassador (E-cell IIT KHARAGPUR)

Priya yadav (16955), student from Computer Science Engineering, V Semester, of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon was selected as Campus ambassador of E-Cell at IIT Kaharagpur on 28th June 2015. The main aim of this e-cell is to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship among students who are willing to touch the skies by their own start-ups and ideas.

Entrepreneurship Cell is a student body of IIT Kharagpur solely with the purpose of inspiring and guiding start-ups and to foster an entrepreneurial culture in the campus. They now play that role on a national scale and have won acclaim across the world. E-cell has two flagship events :

1. Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES)

2. Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive (EAD)

EAD is held in 24 cities across the nation in order to stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship and encourage students to embrace the idea of starting their own venture. It consists of a series of guest lectures by distinguished local entrepreneurs, termed as Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps (EAC's) followed by a panel discussion or a workshop.

Entrepreneurship awareness Drive (EAD) will be conducted in October 2015 by E-cell of IIT Kharagpur. Therefore, the aim of organizing EAD is to motivate the students and to provide them with basic information to give wings to their ideas. As campus ambassador, Ms. Priya Yadav’s main duty will be to motivate and help the students of Dronacharya College of Engineering to come up with ideas or startups so that they have action plan for their projects. She will also organize entrepreneurship program in the college campus.
