Workshop on Resume Building and Job Applications

Training & Placement Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram in association with PrepInsta organized an impactful workshop on "Resume Building and Job Applications" on 18^th August 2023, to empower students with the skills required to stand out in the competitive job market. 54 students participated in the workshop.

The workshop covered essential elements of crafting a professional resume, emphasizing clarity, structure, and showcasing relevant achievements. Expert trainer of PrepInsta Ms. Janvi Jain provided insights into tailoring resumes for specific job roles, effectively highlighting skills and accomplishments to match employer expectations. Additionally, the session delved into strategies for writing compelling job application cover letters, helping students create strong first impressions.

The workshop also included interactive activities such as resume reviews, practical exercises, and mock application writing sessions, ensuring participants gained hands-on experience. Students acclaimed the event for its practical relevance, expressing confidence in applying these techniques to secure internships and job opportunities.
