Students of IT, CSIT and ECS Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in various competitions of INNOSKILL 2018 a technical fest organized by MRIU, Faridabad on 3rd- 4th April 2018. Two teams from DCE, Gurgaon bagged First and Second Prize under project competition SRIJAN.
The competition was organized with the aim of making people skilled in the latest upcoming technologies and to provide a platform to students for show casting their skills and capabilities to the engineering world.
In INNOSKILL 2018 different kinds of technical events were organized including project competitions, App development challenge, workshops, techsol etc.
On 3rd April 2018, 5 teams from the DCE, Gurgaon along with 50 other teams participated in SRIJAN competition, presented their best project with the future scope that they were having with them with the compulsory attributes . Every team who had participated in SRIJAN competition was provided 20 minutes to explain and give the full description of the project with synopsis and power point presentation The students of DCE, Gurgaon presented their remarkable technology ideas, demonstrate their project or venture concepts to gear towards creating a better environment. (compulsory attributes). On the basis of project idea and way of the student presentation the jury members were marking their decision.
On 4th April 2018, the AWARD DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY was organized. DCE team (Naveen Daksh, V.Sai Anila, Manan Bhardwaj, Namrata Sharma, Tamanna Sood) Project titled “Mobile Assistive Application for Visually Impaired” under the guidance of Mrs. Neha Verma was awarded FIRST PRIZE in building resilience category and cash prize of Rs. 5000.
DCE another team (Lakshay Gupta, Kajal, Udit Narayan Tripathy And Ankita Gahlot) project titled “Helping Hand for Alzheimer Patient” under the guidance Mrs. Megha Goel bagged Second Price in Android App category and cash prize of Rs. 3000.
Overall it was a great exposure and learning experience for the students to be part of the fest as they have learnt latest technologies and trends.
