Placement Preparation Session on Data Science

31st January - 4th February 2022

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a placement preparation session on “Data Science” from 31^st January - 4^th February 2022 for V semester students. Prof. Ashwani (faculty member, CSE Department) took the session.

The objective of the session was to guide students some of the important placement related topics in Data Science.

Prof. Ashwani started the session with the brief introduction of Data Science. He covered some of the important topics that can help students in their placement preparation

• Introduction to Data Science
• Numpy (2D Matrix)
• Data manipulation using panda
• Visualization
• Ploting
• ML with Scikit (Pytorch)

He told students that there will be many questions that would be asked by the interviewer.  He further advised, students should be very good at conditional and critical thinking. He told many brain exercises to sharpen the mind. Many impromptu questions were asked by Prof. Ashwani which helped students to prepare for the upcoming placement drives.

It was an interactive session and students were highly benefitted from the session.
