Participation in SAEINDIA Motion in Control 2026

Students of Dronacharya College of Engineering participated in the 5th Edition of the SAEINDIA Motion in Control Conference held on 24th - 25th February 2026, at ICAT-2, Manesar, Gurgaon. The event brought together industry experts, academicians, and aspiring engineers to discuss emerging trends and technological advancements in the automotive sector.
The participating students were from the Mechanical Engineering and Robotics & Automation branches and were mentored by Prof. Yudhveer Verma, SAE Event Coordinator. The conference focused on critical domains such as Vehicle Dynamics, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and the ongoing transition toward autonomous and safer mobility solutions.
During the conference, students had the opportunity to attend expert sessions delivered by professionals from leading automotive organizations, including Maruti Suzuki India Limited, ZF Group, OXTS, and DENSO. These sessions highlighted the integration of software-driven control systems with traditional automotive hardware, emphasizing how intelligent systems are redefining vehicle safety, performance, and user experience.
The conference also provided a valuable platform for networking with industry leaders, researchers, and fellow students. Participants gained insights into real-world engineering challenges and the skills required to meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry.
