Fit India Movement

Under the nationwide Fit India Movement initiative launched by the Government of India to promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, NSS Units, Dronacharya College of Engineering (DCE), organized sports and fitness activities on 06 February 2026 within the college campus. The event was aimed at encouraging students, faculty members, and staff to incorporate regular physical activity into their daily routines.
The programme featured a range of outdoor sports and fitness activities designed to ensure maximum participation and engagement. Team sports such as volleyball, badminton, and cricket were organized, along with fun fitness games that promoted teamwork, enthusiasm, and overall well-being. The activities created an energetic and motivating environment, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition.
Students and faculty members actively participated in the event with great enthusiasm, demonstrating strong support for the objectives of the Fit India Movement. The collective involvement reflected the institution’s commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also physical and mental well-being.
The sports activity concluded on a positive and encouraging note, receiving appreciative feedback from all participants.
