FDP on "Advances in Signal Processing"
05th April 2021
Two faculty members, Dr. Ekta Thakur and Mrs. Neha Verma from ECE and EEE Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram attended online “Faculty Development Program on Advances in Signal Processing” conducted by VIT, Tamil Nadu.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Kittur Harish Mallikarjun, Dean / SENSE, VIT, with the welcome note from Dr. Thanikaiselvan V. The FDP was divided into three sessions focusing on different aspect of signal processing such as FMCW and CW Radar Sensors for Automotive Applications, Machine Learning for Health Care Systems and Deep Learning for Image Processing Applications and was delivered by eminent speakers from NIT-Karnataka and NIT-Warangal.
Overall, the FDP was a great exposure and learning experience for ECE faculty as it was an opportunity to get an insight of deep learning techniques that help us process and analyze the big data available all around us through systematic programming, disciplines, and codes. These technologies can be used to deliver insights and inferences, develop patterns and trends, and for various other applications in several fields.
In the end vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vinoth Babu K, Associate Professor, SENSE – VIT.
