FDP on "Advances in Signal Processing"

Two faculty members, Dr. Ekta Thakur and Mrs. Neha Verma from ECE and EEE Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram attended online Faculty Development Program on “Advances in Signal Processing” on 5th April 2021 conducted by VIT, Tamil Nadu.
The main objective of the FDP was to give insight of deep learning techniques to the participants that will help that will help them process and analyze the big data available.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Kittur Harish Mallikarjun, Dean / SENSE, VIT, with the welcome note from Dr. Thanikaiselvan V. The FDP was divided into three sessions focusing on different aspect of signal processing such as FMCW and CW Radar Sensors for Automotive Applications, Machine Learning for Health Care Systems and Deep Learning for Image Processing Applications and was delivered by eminent speakers from NIT-Karnataka and NIT-Warangal.
In the end vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vinoth Babu K, Associate Professor, SENSE – VIT.
Overall, the FDP was a great exposure and learning experience for ECE faculty. They got to know how these technologies can be used to deliver insights and inferences, develop patterns and trends, and for various other applications in several fields.
