YUVA SAMVAD : INDIA@2047

40 students from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram attended an interactive session “YuvaSamvad: India@2047.” at Akashwani Bhawan, New Delhi on 12th August 2022. The session was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under the Chairmanship of Secretary (Youth Affairs).
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan (Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) and Shri Anurag Thakur (Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports) addressed at Yuva Samvad “India@2047.” Speaking on the occasion Shri Pradhan said the responsibility of taking Indian values, ethos, knowledge and models to the world rests upon the youth of the nation. Shri Anurag Thakur said, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi always says youth is the engine which drives the nation towards success and it is the duty of the youth of the nation to strive towards betterment of the country. During the interaction session, discussions were held on India’s upcoming G20 presidency with specific reference to Youth 20 (Engagement Group under the ambit of G20).
Nikhat Zareen (Boxer), Priyanka Goswami (Racewalker), Shri P.R.Sreejesh (Indian Hockey team player), Smt. Arunima Sinha (Mountaineer) and Smt. Abha Maryada Banerjee (Motivational Speaker) also graced the event and shared their life experiences. The event was also attended by other senior officers of the Ministry and the representatives of UNICEF, UNDP and UNV.
Throughout the session, students of DCE attentively attended the session and were motivated by the eloquent speeches of the dignitaries.
