Celebration of "Independence Day"

NSS Units of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated "75^th Independence Day" on 15^th August, 2022 at the college campus. 240 students and faculty members participated in the celebration. The Government of India launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to commemorate India’s 75th Independence Year.

The day started with the hoisting of Tricolor Flag by Dr. Ritu Sindhu (Principal – DCE, Gurugram). Afterwards, she illuminated the young minds through patriotic speech. In her speech, she told about the efforts and the sacrifice made by the great freedom fighters of the country in the fight to achieve Independence. Then all sung National Anthem in chorus.

The event ended with distribution of sweets to all.
