Visit to Kyutech Institute of Technology, Japan

Prof. Ashima Mehta (HOD,CSE) from Dronacharya College of Engineering visited Kyutech Institute of Technology, Japan from 24th - 28thApril 2025 to interact with the students who participated in International Internship Program at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japanand review their academic progress. The visit marked a significant step toward strengthening academic collaborations and promoting global learning opportunities for students.
During the program, she visited advanced research laboratories at partner institutions, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and innovative research practices. These visits also helped in exploring potential areas for collaboration in teaching and research.
Prof. Mehta interacted with academic mentors and guides of the students currently pursuing their studies in Japan. Discussions focused on students’ academic progress, goals, and the enriching experiences gained through the exchange program. These interactions further strengthened the support system for students abroad and ensured their continued academic and personal growth.
She also toured state-of-the-art research facilities, including Artificial Intelligence labs, Robotics laboratories, and Smart Systems research centres. The exposure provided deep insights into advancements in autonomous systems, machine learning, and intelligent automation, which are shaping the future of technology.
As a special gesture, students from the institution who earned the opportunity to pursue their M. Tech programs in Japan through this exchange were recognized with customized photo frames. Each frame showcased the student’s photograph, symbolizing their achievement and inspiring fellow students.
