ATL INNOVATION EXIBITION TECHATHON - 2024
9th - 11th November 2024
100 students along with Dr. Anupam Dalal (NSS PO), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram participated in TECHATHON-2024, a prestigious national-level innovation exhibition hosted by IIT Delhi from 9th to 11th November, 2024. The event organized by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL), and Vidhya Bharti Schools, brought together young innovators from across India to showcase their innovative solutions to real-world problems.
TECHATHON-2024 provided a platform for young minds to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills. The event featured a diverse range of projects, including:
- Sustainable Technologies: Innovations aimed at addressing environmental challenges, such as renewable energy solutions and waste management systems.
- Healthcare Innovations: Devices and applications designed to improve healthcare accessibility and efficiency, particularly in rural areas.
- Smart City Solutions: Projects focused on smart urban planning, traffic management, and public safety.
- Social Impact Initiatives: Solutions addressing social issues like education, poverty, and gender inequality.
Day - 1: 9th November, 2024
The first day of the event began with a blend of excitement and learning as the Inauguration of the Exhibition took place at 10:30 a.m. in the Student Activity Centre, IIT Delhi. The day progressed with the Inaugural Session, held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Seminar Hall at IIT Delhi. The exhibition showcased innovative projects, research displays, and technological advancements, and provided a platform for students and attendees to explore and interact with groundbreaking ideas.
Day-2: 10th November 2024
The second day of the event was dedicated to a Technology Demonstration, held throughout the day at the Student Activity Centre, IIT Delhi. The session provided participants with a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the latest technological innovations and developments. Experts and innovators showcased cutting-edge projects, ranging from robotics and artificial intelligence to sustainable technologies and digital advancements.
Attendees were encouraged to interact with the displays, ask questions, and engage with the demonstrations, gaining insights into the real-world applications of these technologies.
Day-3: 11th November 2024
The final day of the event began with the Valedictory Session at the Student Activity Centre, IIT Delhi. A sense of accomplishment and inspiration filled the air as attendees celebrated their collective learning and growth.
The DCE team, comprising of enthusiastic students and faculty members, actively engaged with the showcased projects. They interacted with fellow innovators, shared their experiences, and gained valuable insights from experts in the field. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking and collaboration. The visit to IIT Delhi's state-of-the-art laboratories, including the Robotics Lab, AI Research Centre, and Sustainable Energy Lab, was a truly inspiring experience. It exposed the DCE team to cutting-edge research and development, broadening their horizons and igniting their passion for innovation.
Benefit/Outcome: TECHATHON-2024 had a profound impact on the DCE team. It fostered a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The exposure to diverse perspectives and innovative ideas undoubtedly inspire the team to undertake ambitious projects and contribute to societal progress.
