Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon (Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering ) has organized a two day “International Conference on Communication and Computing Systems” (ICCCS’18) in association with CRC Press - Taylor & Francis Group from 1st - 2nd December 2018. The Chief Guest of the conference was Dr. Bibek Bandyopadhyay, Former Director General NISE, Govt. of India. Dr. Satish Yadav, Chairman, DCE, Gurgaon was the Chief Patron & Dr. B.M.K. Prasad, was the Patron of the International Conference.
The aim of the conference was to discuss the current scenario of the advancements in the field of Communication and Computing Systems.
The fields discussed in the conference are: Image Processing and Its Applications, Reliable and Secure Communication, Soft Computing, Intelligent System, Machine Vision and Artificial Neural Network, VLSI & Embedded System, Wireless Sensor Networs&Renewable Energy. Around 200 papers were received from industries, researchers & academies in above said areas of Communication and computing systems and adapted papers have been included in the conference proceedings
Day 1:
Inaurgation ceremony was followed by keynote address by Prof. D.K Lobiyal Professor & Dean, School of Computer & System Science, JNU, New Delhi. In morning session paper presentation was performed in 3 parallel tracks. Theme of Track 1 was Image Processing & Its Applications and the session was chaired by Dr. B.B Sagar. Track 2 was Secure Computing and the session was chaired by Dr. Karan Singh.Track 3 was Soft Computing, Intelligent System, Machine Vision and Artificial Neural Network and the session was chaired by Dr. Nahid Fatima.
Next session was also organized in 3 parallel tracks. These sessions were chaired by Dr. Neeta Singh, Dr. Kamna (MDU, Rohtak), Dr. Amita (MDU, Rohtak) and Dr. Rekha Vig.
Day 2:
Second day started with keynote address of Dr. K. V. S. S. S. S. Sairam Professor, Dept of ECE NMAM Institute of Technology Karkala, India. It followed by paper presentation in 3 parallel tracks. Theme of Track 1was VLSI & Embedded Systems and the session was chaired by Dr. Manisha Munjal. Track 2 was Software Engineering & Emerging Technologies and the session was chaired by Dr. R.P Ojha. Track 3 was Recent Trends in Communication and Soft Computing and the session was chaired by Dr. Parma Nand Astya and Dharam Raj.
Next session was also organized in 3 parallel tracks. These sessions were chaired by Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav, Dr. Sandeep Sharma and Dr. Sushil Kumar.
The closing ceremony was followed by distribution of best paper awards to the selected participants.
The Conference provided a global platform for interaction among the knowledge holders belonging to industry, academia and various areas of society. The conference was a great learning experience for everyone and the participants gave valuable positive feedbacks.
