To mark the victory of good over bad, light over dark Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a Diwali celebration “Dron’s Deepotsav 2023” on 9th November 2023.
The campus underwent a festive transformation with mesmerizing decorations. Rangoli adorned walkways and colorful lights illuminated the campus.
The celebration commenced with a traditional diya lighting ceremony by Prof. (Dr.) Isha Malhotra. Everyone gathered to light diyas, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. Prof. (Dr.) Isha briefed the significance of Diwali, creating a spiritual and inclusive atmosphere.
Everyone was dressed in beautiful traditional attires. The highlight of the celebration was the dancing and music programme. Everyone danced to the tunes of Bollywood music. Various fun filled games were also organized to add up the joy.
Lastly, Diwali gift hampers were distributed to all the faculties and staff members of the college.
