(CONIAPS XVIII) on RECENT TRENDS IN PHYSICAL SCIENCE
22nd - 24th December 2015
18th International Conference of International Academy of Physical Sciences (CONIAPS-XVIII) was organized by Faculty of Science, Allahabad University from 22nd - 24th December, 2015 on “Recent Trends In Physical Sciences”.
The objective of the conference was to bring together researchers, developers and practitioners from the academic fraternity. Leading scientists and researchers from different countries working in different disciplines were invited to talk on various fields of physical sciences and technologies and harness the potential of the innovative ideas for meeting the challenges of the future.
CONIAPS XVIII included a broad set of research areas related to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics and Applied Physics, Material Sciences, Computer Sciences and Informatics, Bio-Informatics, Bio-Physics, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Technology and Earth Sciences.
Dr. Vaishali Dixit, (Associate Professor of Applied Sciences and Humanities) from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon presented the research paper titled “Perturbation of Absorption Spectral Properties of Substituted Pyridines by Polar and Non Polar Solvents” In her paper she recorded the UV-absorption spectra of substituted pyridine in different solvents of different polarities. The effect of solvent on the position and intensity of the absorption band has been demonstrated. The influence of substituent on the absorption spectra was also discussed in her paper.
In the conference there was a interaction between participants in the form of lectures and discussions on all aspects of physical science and technology so as to forge bonds and gain from each other’s experience and knowledge regarding the latest advances in the field of physical sciences and technology.
