One Week Faculty Development Programme on "Soft Computing Techniques and Applications"
23rd - 28th December, 2017
Ms. Sarita (Assistant Professor, CSE) from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended one week Faculty Development Program on Soft Computing Techniques and Applications (SCoTA-17) from 23rd - 28th December, 2017 under the Scheme of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching, MHRD, Government of India organized by Banasthali University, Rajasthan .
The main objective of the FDP was to bring professionals, researchers, faculty members, expert together on a single platform to discuss the various trends in soft computing and its real life applications.
The Soft Computing techniques, which are based on the information processing of biological systems are now massively used in the area of pattern recognition, making prediction & planning, as well as acting on the environment. At present, the main aim of soft computing is to exploit the tolerance for imprecision and uncertainty to achieve tractability, robustness and low solutions cost.
