First Prize in FIA Project Competition

Faridabad Industrial Association organized the award ceremony of FIA Project Competition on 4th May 2019. Students from ECS Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram obtained the first prize in the "Computer Science/ IT Stream" domain.
FIA organized a project competition, "Faridabad Industrial Association Project Competition" with the aim to showcase the hidden talent among the budding technocrats on 27th April 2019 at NIT Faridabad. Students from CSE, ECS, IT, ME Department, along with Mr. Amar Saraswat, Assistant Professor, IT Department Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram participated in the competition.
The competition comprised of four phases. The first phase was the selection of submitted ideas by the FIA Jury members. Five projects, from DCE, Gurugram got selected for second round. In the second round (presentation round), the students presented their projects team wise. Jatin Sharma, Parveen Saini, Deepak Beniwal, Garvit from CSE Department, Lakshay Gupta, Udit Narayan Tripathy, from IT Department, Deepak Tehlan, Karandeep Singh, Himanshu Gupta, Akash Thakur, Navdeep Rajput from ME Department, and Shashi Kumar, Mohit Yadav, Vikas Upadhaya from ECS Department presented their project in second round. In the third phase, which was "Demonstration Phase", the students demonstrated their projects in front of jury members from FIA. The fourth was the "Q&A" round, in which the jury members and the audience fired up the questions to the participants.
The award ceremony was held on 4th May 2019 at NIT Faridabad. Students from Department of ECS obtained the first prize in the "Computer Science/ IT Stream" domain.
