"Two Day Innovative & Game Based Entrepreneurship Development Program"

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India organized a workshop on "Two Day Innovative & Game Based Entrepreneurship Development Program" at AICTE H.Q., New Delhi on 2nd - 3rd November 2019. Mr. Amar Saraswat, Assistant Professor, IT Department along with student, Mr. Siddharth Khurana (22156) from CSE Department Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram attended the two days' workshop.
The main objective of the workshop was to discuss importance of being entrepreneur and its benefits.
The inauguration ceremony was done in the esteemed presence of the guests of the workshop, Prof. S. K. Palhan, Founder Director, Great Lakes Institute of Management and Advisor, Indus Quality Foundation, Dr. S Laxmi Devi, Hony. Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Oriented Programs, University of Delhi, Mr. Kunwar Vijay, Founder, 3imacs, Ms. Ritu, & Mr. Deepak Saraswat, Cofounder, 3imacs along with AICTE Officials.
After the inauguration ceremony, introduction of the Heuristic game was given by the team of Mr. Vijay and several teams of four members were formed. Then, the Hueristic game was being played by all the participants in the round one, which was bit easy. In the second round, the teams were given various risks which were to be implemented while playing up the game.
In the second phase, the participants filled the worksheets and various guest speakers were called to give their presentations for motivating the students to become an entrepreneur.
On the second day, each faculty was assigned as the mentor and financer, and the topics were judged by them. Then, five teams were combined into one, a round table meeting was held by Prof. Palhan, and ideas of all the teams were judged and elected on several parameters. The best idea was presented in front of Jury members, Prof. S. K. Palhan, Dr. S Laxmi Devi, Mr. Kunwar Vijay, Mr. Ankush, MHRD Innovation Officer and many other entrepreneurs.
There was the "Fire-up-Session" at the end of every presentation, in which the jury members asked several questions about the idea and its feasibility.
In the valedictory session the entire guest gave their viewpoints on entrepreneurship and feedback from participants were taken. The two day workshop ended up with Certificate Distribution Ceremony.
