CSI State Student Convention 2017.

Mohit Manuja, Roll. No. - 17087 student of 6th Semester, CSE Department won the second prize for the Android Application titled Safe Palm and received a trophy, cash prize of Rs. 1000/-, a Book and certificate at CSI State Student Convention 2017. 2016.

Ministry of Defence, Government of India

Pawan Kumar (17544) student of IT Department participated in 68th Republic day celebration organised by Ministry of Defence, Government of India held at Rajpath, New Delhi on 26th January 2017. Pawan Kumar participated in the tableau "Maharashtra" showcased by Government of Maharashtra on the theme "Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak" and won the 3rd best tableaux of 2017 by GOI.

Delhi Quiz Circuit

Abhilash Banerjee student of ECE department participated in state level Open India quiz competition 'Maatribhoomi' organised by Delhi Quiz Circuit and The Manthan Quizzing Society of Hindu College which comes under the University of Delhi on 9th January, 2017.

Vertika(18181) and Shweta(18162) student of CSE Department won 2nd Position and Aishwarya Agarwal (17008) & Prachi(17182) got selected in top 5 in Poster Presentation on Women Empowerment by TERI, Delhi held from 13 - 17 December 2016.

Gail India Ltd.

Vertika(18181) student of CSE Department won 1st Prize and cash reward of Rs. 5000/- in Debate Competition organised by Gail India Ltd. During Vigilance Awareness Week on 7th November 2016.

Rahul Satyaprakash Rana(16124) of CSE Attended MIC Global Submit 2016 at Xian, China from 30th October 2016 to 4th November 2016.

IEEE Xtreme 10.0 Programming Competition

Three team XtremeCoder, ITHacker and ExtremeProgrammer of IT and CSIT Department students got 577, 578 and 579 Global Ranking in IEEE Xtreme 10.0 Programming Competition held on 21st - 22nd October 2016.

FAM

Sushil Sharma (16942), Ashish Gahlawat (16905), Jaiveer Mahlawat (16915) students of Computer Science & Information Technology, 7th Semester and Nikhil (16540), Deepak Kumar (16523) students of Information Technology 7th Semester officially launched the new messenger named FAM on 31st August 2016. FAM has got more than 3500 downloads till date and has maintained a rating of 4.8 out of 5 in Google Play store.

Jaiveer Singh (16915) student of 7th Semester, Computer Science & Information Technology Department developed a "HOMIES DAY OUT" game. "Homies Day Out" has been successfully released with updated version� 1.0.0.1 on the google play store and It is a free platform arcade game.

American Society of Civil Engineers

Students of Civil Engineering Department won Second Prize in the contest "INQUISITION" (Treasure Hunt Competition using Google Maps) in Annual Civil Engineering Techfest "RECONNAISSANCE 2017" organised by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) International Student Chapter at PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh on 8 - 9 April 2017.

SAE National Student Convention 2017

IDEA Selected for Poster Presentation in IISF - YSC

The idea of Shivani Rao (17776) "Smart way to reduce toxic gases from environment" got selected for Poster Presentation in India International Science Festival (IISF) Young Scientists' Conclave (YSC) held at NPL, New Delhi on 7 - 11 December 2016.

National institute of Technology, Delhi

Shivani Rao (17776) presented the poster titled "Catayltic Convertor to reduce toxic gases" based on the major project "Solar Trash". 'Research scholar' Day - 2016 organized at National institute of Technology, Delhi on 15 October 2016 and the poster was selected as Best Presentation.
