Department of ECE, EEE and ECS of Dronacharya College of Engineeringorganized a session “Campus Placement Preparation(Mock Tests and GD)on 06th February 2026 as part of its placement preparation initiatives for students. The activity was designed to acquaint students with real-time recruitment processes and enhance their aptitude, technical proficiency, communication skills, and overall confidence.
The programme aimed to provide students with a realistic experience of campus placement procedures. Participants were divided into groups, and mock interviews along with group discussion sessions were conducted under the guidance of experienced faculty members. These sessions closely simulated actual placement scenarios, enabling students to understand interview etiquette, teamwork dynamics, problem-solving approaches, and effective communication techniques.
During the sessions, faculty members carefully observed students’ performance and offered constructive feedback. Detailed guidance was provided on aspects such as body language, clarity of thought, technical responses, articulation of ideas, and communication skills. This personalized feedback helped students recognize their strengths and identify areas requiring improvement.
The event proved to be highly interactive and beneficial, significantly boosting students’ confidence and preparing them for upcoming placement drives. The session concluded on a positive note with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.
