EVALUATION PROCESS

  • Internal Assessment in each theory subject consists of 50 marks
  • 30 Marks to be assessed on the basis of Sessional Examinations (details appended below).
  • 10 Marks for attendance on the laid down criteria.
  • 10 Marks to be awarded on the basis of Teacher's Assessment.

Guidelines and Syllabus for Sessional Examinations:

  • All the 3 Sessional examinations are compulsory and will be strictly conducted on the University Examination pattern.
  • First Sessional Examination will be conducted from the Syllabus covered in a subject up to the stipulated date of exams or a maximum of two units, (Unit 1 and 2), whichever is less.
  • Second Sessional Examination will be conducted from the Syllabus covered, after the 1st Sessional examination in a subject up to the stipulated date of exams or a maximum of two units, (Unit 3 and 4), whichever is less.
  • Each subject Sessional Examination will be of 50 marks, to be converted into 15 marks after evaluation.
  • Duration of Sessional Examination will be 2 hours.

Pre-University Examination:

  • Pre-University question paper has to be set from the Complete Syllabus of the subject as prescribed by the University.
  • Duration of Pre-University Examination will be 3 hours.
  • Section A: Q.1. has 10 Short answer type Questions and which are compulsory.
  • Section B: has 8 Questions, any 5 Questions are to be attempted and which are of descriptive, medium and numerical type.
  • Section C: has 3 Questions, any 2 Questions are to be attempted, and which are of descriptive, lengthy and numerical type.
Criteria for Awarding of marks:

SIX WEEKS PRACTICAL TRAINING DURING SUMMER BREAK

  • IT IS MANDATORY TO UNDERGO SIX WEEKS PRACTICAL TRAINING BY THE STUDENTS OF IV AND VI SEMESTERS AFTER THE END OF EXAMINATION.
  • AFTER COMPLETION OF PRACTICAL TRAINING, THEY HAVE TO SUBMIT A PRACTICAL TRAINING REPORT AND TO DELIVER A PRESENTATION OF THEIR TRAINING REPORT.

PROJECT WORK AND R & D – FINAL YR. STUDENTS

  • PROJECT WORK OF FINAL YEAR STUDENTS IS CARRIED OUT DURING VII & VIII SEMESTER.
  • AMANAGEMENT HAS INCORPORATED BEST PROJECT AWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- TO THE GROUP STUDENTS AND Rs. 5,000/- TO THE CONCERNED FACULTY.

Stress on Personality Development and Grooming of Students

  • ASDP- Advanced Student Development Program: ASDP is a program for the final year students of CSE & IT and in that we train them for Interviews of various companies (Technical as well as HR). We also conduct different types of tests for them (Aptitude test, Technical Test, Psychometric test etc.)
  • MSDP- Middle- Level Student Development Program: MSDP is a program for 3rd year students, and in that we groom them according to their interest. Special Career counseling is done and students are also briefed about various options which they have. They are also guided for the higher studies (CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS etc.)
  • BSDP- Basic Student Development Program: BSDP is a program for 2nd year students, the main emphasis of this program is personality development. Here maximum emphasis is on communication skills, presentation and body language. Various workshops on all these are organized by faculty members of CSE & IT where we conduct Extempore, Debate, Group Discussion, Paper Reading, Vocabulary tests etc. Senior faculty delivers lectures to the students on topics like personality development, ethics, social etiquettes, how to face interviews, motivation and confidence , building measures ,besides that we conduct of aptitude test, logical reasoning test for improving the placement chances of students.

    In addition lectures by outside experts are also being arranged from time to time for the benefit of our students.
