The motto of NSS is “Not Me But You” The National Service Scheme (NSS) Central Sector Scheme of Government of India Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The scheme was launched in 1969 (Gandhiji's Centenary year, 1969). NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges and Universities working for a campus-community linkage. Objective of the Scheme: Developing student's personality through community service and to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service.

NSS Unit of college acts as a catalyst of build up the right type of leadership in the institutions. NSS programmes reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less service among students.
