Webinar session on Angular UI|UX
6th May 2020
Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram in association with InternNexus organized a webinar session on "Angular UI|UX" on 6th May 2020 conducted by Mr.Piyush Pandey. 60 students along with host members from CSE and CSIT attended the webinar session.
Starting the webinar, Mr. Piyush Pandey emphasized the role of Angular UI|UX in the field of Web Development such as Expressive HTML, Powerful Data Binding, Modular by Design, Built-in Back-End Integration.
Next he discussed the following topics of Angular UI|UX in Web Development
- New Angular.
- Expressive HTML.
- Integrated Data binding.
- Build-In modules.
- Component Structures.
- Modules of Components that are used to make an application :-Class (properties
methods), import ,metadata
- How to install node js,visual code, angular.
- How you can start a new project.
Later he gave introduction of Angular. He explained Angular is an application design framework and development platform for creating efficient and sophisticated single-page apps. These Angular docs help you learn and use the Angular framework and development platform, from your first application to optimizing complex single-page apps for enterprises. Tutorials and guides include downloadable examples to accelerate your projects.
He also explained Angular CLI. The Angular CLI is a command-line interface tools that user use to initialize, develop, scaffold, and maintain Angular applications. User can use the tools directly in a command shell, or indirectly through an interactive UI such as Angular Console
- Installing Angular CLI
- Install the CLI using the npm package manager: npm install -g @angular/cli
The ng new command creates an Angular workspace folder and generates a new app skeleton. A workspace can contain multiple apps and libraries. The initial app created by the ng new command is at the top level of the workspace. When you generate an additional app or library in a workspace, it goes into a projects/ subfolder.
A newly generated app contains the source files for a root module, with a root component and template. Each app has a src folder that contains the logic, data, and assets. You can edit the generated files directly, or add to and modify them using CLI commands. Use of ng generates command to add new files for additional components and services, and code for new pipes, directives, and so on. Commands such as add and generate, which create or operate on apps and libraries, must be executed from within a workspace or project folder.
Mr.Piyush Pandey also discussed the Visual code Editor and how to use it.
The session was responsive and beneficial for all students.
