Webinar session on Ethical Hacking

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram in association with InternNexus organized a webinar session on "Ethical Hacking" on 5th May 2020 conducted by Mr.Piyush Pandey. 60 students along with host members from CSE and CSIT attended the webinar session.
Starting the webinar, Mr. Piyush Pandey emphasized the role of Ethical Hacking in the field of Cyber Security such as Authenticity, Integrity, Availability Confidentiality, Non-repudiation.
Next he discussed the following topics of Ethical Hacking in Cyber Security
- Fundamentals of Information Security.
- Hacking Terminology.
- Technology Triangle.
- Type of Hackers:-Black Hats, White Hats, Gray Hats, Suicide Hackers.
- Type of Pentests:-Black box, White box, Gray box.
- Important role of Cyber Security.
- Explain each and every module of security: password, authentication, permissions.
Continuing the session he explained difference between Hacking and Ethical Hacking. He told Hacking is where the user had no permission to enter inside the site and then he hacked that site without permission and password. That person could not be an authentic person. Ethical Hacking is where the user had authenticated permission to enter inside the site and then the person can access the site with password and authentication.
Mr.Piyush Pandey also discussed the Burp Suite professional Application and how to use it.
He delivered a wonderful webinar session on Ethical Hacking, the session was responsive and beneficial for all students.
