INDIACom - 2017, New Delhi

Throughout the world, nations have started recognizing that Information Technology is now acting as a catalyst in speeding up the economic activity in efficient governance, citizens’ empowerment and in improving the quality of human life.

Since its inception in 2007; INDIACom – 2017 (IEEE Conference ID: 40353); 11th INDIACom; 2017 International Conference on Computing for Sustainable Global Development”, sponsored by IEEE Delhi Section was held from 1st of March, 2017 to 03rd of March, 2017 at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, New Delhi, in which eight teams from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon were selected and presented their Research Papers.

"29th March 2017 | Organized by Advancing Technology for the benefit of Humanity uses Open Source Technology"

IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) had organised a live webinar on “Advancing Technology for the benefit of Humanity uses Open Source Technology” on 29th March 2017. The speakers of the webinar were Mr. Gary Stuebing, Mr. Andrew Updegrove and Mr. Alfredo Herrera.

The objective of the Webinar was to teach the students about Technology advancements by open source technology. While open source software and open standards serve many common goals, there are important differences in the rules and legal tools that have evolved to address their development and use. Students of CSE Department have attended the Webinar.

Rice Conference 2017, Uttarakhand

"24 - 26th March 2017 | Organized by Institute of Technology, Gopeshwar, Uttarakhand, India"

Research in Intelligent and Computing in Engineering (RICE 2017) was the second international conference organized at Institute of Technology, Gopeshwar, Uttarakhand, India during 24 - 26 March 2017. Two papers, from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon got selected in the conference. One with theme of Human Computer Interface (HCI) by Nidhi (17092) with co-authors Sanatan Jha(17127) and Ms. Sarita (Assistant Professor , CSE) and other with theme of Cloud Computing by Steven Mathew (17152) with co-authors Ms Sarita (Assistant Professor , CSE) , Varinder Singh (17167) and Vivek Dev (17174) got selected for final presentation and publication under RICE 2017.

Nidhi (Roll no 17092) , student from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon received the Best Presentation Award.
